WICHITA, KS — Crossland Construction announces that Mike Farrington has been selected for the 2025 Leadership Kansas Class, a leadership development program. This honor recognizes Farrington’s dedication to professional growth and his commitment to making a lasting impact on the industry and community.
Farrington’s journey with Crossland started over 20 years ago when he joined the internship program. From those early days, Farrington worked his way up from Assistant Project Manager to Project Manager to Senior Project Manager — to now leading the National Accounts division. In his current role, Farrington partners with some of the world’s largest retailers to streamline and support their construction and building needs.
Each year, Leadership Kansas selects 40 professionals from across the state to participate in an eight-month journey designed to foster a deeper understanding of economic, business, and political issues in Kansas. With over 500 nominations for the 2025 class, the selection process is highly competitive.
Throughout the program, Farrington will have the opportunity to engage with top business and government leaders, visit key cities across Kansas — including Dodge City, Garden City, Hays, Hutchinson, Kansas City, Leavenworth, Manhattan, Pittsburg, Salina, Topeka, and Wichita — and participate in discussions on critical topics such as economic development, education, public policy, and societal health.
Farrington’s participation in Leadership Kansas will further strengthen his ability to drive innovation and foster collaboration both within Crossland and in the broader Kansas business community.
