VANCOUVER, WA — Burns & McDonnell, an employee-owned consulting, engineering, and construction company, has named Rick Nye as the Branch Office Manager of its Vancouver, Washington, office in the Pacific Northwest.
“As a native of the region, I’m excited to lead our talented employee-owners in delivering infrastructure that powers the Pacific Northwest,” Nye said. “I look forward to working alongside our team and clients to drive impactful solutions that strengthen the region’s infrastructure.”
Nye brings 20 years of experience in the electric utility industry and will lead the firm’s efforts to expand services, support clients, and drive growth throughout the region. He will oversee the local office of nearly 75 employee-owners delivering engineering and construction solutions across transmission and distribution, environmental, manufacturing, water, and more.
Throughout his career, Nye has led large-scale engineer-procure-construct projects and, as a Principal at Burns & McDonnell, guided teams delivering power systems for communities and utilities.
“Rick’s dedication to delivering complex engineering and construction projects and his leadership in the region make him an ideal choice to lead our growing office in the Pacific Northwest,” said Jason Mayyak, Vice President and General Manager of the Mountain Region for Burns & McDonnell. “His technical knowledge, combined with his commitment to client success, will help us grow our construction, engineering, and environmental services in the region.”
