Stanley Consultants Names Johns Chief Engineer
Johns is a 40-year veteran in the planning and design of water and wastewater treatment and groundwater and soil remediation systems, and an expert witness, published author and speaker. A civil and environmental engineering graduate from Stanford University, he has served in a variety of technical and managerial roles, including Lead Technical Engineer.
“Johns is well-known and respected in the engineering field and a recognized expert who will oversee our technical program and be responsible for overall quality management,” said Mike Rothberg, Chief of Practice and Performance for Stanley Consultants.
In addition, Johns will evaluate new software technology and training for the firm’s members, oversee technical presentations, articles, papers and awards and investigate new and emerging technologies for application into company work products. Johns and his staff will work with universities, professional organizations and manufacturers to stay abreast of new technology in the company’s markets.
“It is vital for our engineers to stay on top of the technical advances in our business, while delivering high-quality engineering solutions to our clients,” Johns said.
“Advances in technology has always been a part of our business. Change is happening faster today, and we have to guide our clients through that analysis and help them anticipate and prepare for tomorrow,” he added. “To do that, we have to have the technical capabilities to perform as their consultants.”
