“Randy’s combination of leadership skills, technical acumen, and client and community relationships make him the perfect fit for HNTB’s Salt Lake City team,” said Dominic Spaethling, HNTB Salt Lake City Office Leader. “Throughout his career, Randy has led and delivered large projects. His experience and innovation in managing major highway and roadway projects will be of tremendous value to Utah Department of Transportation [UDOT] and other clients in the state and the U.S.”
Prior to joining HNTB, Jefferies spent 25 years at UDOT, where he progressed from Design Engineer to Program Director and was awarded UDOT Leader of the Year. His commitment to teamwork and collaboration has helped him build trust and consensus with project stakeholders and elected officials throughout Utah.
Jefferies received his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Brigham Young University, and he is a licensed Professional Engineer in Utah.
