STILLWATER, MN — HealthPartners hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for the new HealthPartners Lakeview Hospital in Stillwater, Minnesota, marking the next phase in the organization’s commitment to advancing health care in the St. Croix Valley.
Kraus-Anderson is the construction manager for the new six-story, 400,000-square-foot hospital and clinic campus. Construction will begin this summer and is expected to open to patients in early 2028.
“Our new HealthPartners Lakeview Hospital will be designed with our community’s growth and unique needs in mind,” said Andrea Walsh, President and CEO of HealthPartners. “Our vision is that it will serve this community well, not in just five years, but in 20, 30, and 50 years down the road.”
The new location will offer expanded specialized services like a family birth center, TRIA Orthopedics Clinic, cardiac catheterization lab, cancer care, and improved emergency and critical care. Designed with nature views from patient rooms, the hospital includes walking trails connecting to local paths and sustainable practices that preserve over 94 percent of wetlands.
“For more than 50 years, Kraus-Anderson has partnered with HealthPartners to create spaces that support every stage of life and respond to the community’s evolving health care and wellness needs,” said Camille Helou, Kraus-Anderson’s Senior Vice President and Director of Operations. “The new Lakeview Hospital reflects our continued commitment to delivering advanced care environments and innovative solutions. We are proud to be a part of that legacy.”
