KAUKAUNA, WI — The Heart of the Valley Metropolitan Sewerage District is completing the rehabilitation of their gravity interceptor system. The system is approximately 5.5 miles long. The remaining concrete mains will be lined (CIPP) and structure interiors coated (high build epoxy). The work generally includes four categories of work:

• Access to work areas: The work areas include both land and marine (Fox River/canal system) construction access. Marine access includes barge support equipment for related rehabilitation work in the Fox River and canal system.
• Bypass wastewater: Wastewater will be bypassed around the respective work areas.
• Interceptor lining (CIPP): Traditional CIPP liners will be installed in the remaining concrete interceptor pipes (18-48 inch).
• Structures: Work will include protective coat structure interior surfaces and replacing/modifying structures

The District is requiring all general and 1st tier subcontractors are prequalified as a condition of receiving official bidding documents and submitting a public bid. There are general contractor self-performance requirements.
