Miron Construction Donates Over 9,000 Diapers Through Wrapped in Love Campaign
1 in 3 parents struggle to provide diapers for their baby. In response to this statistic, Miron’s diaper drive — known as the Wrapped in Love campaign — ran for two weeks, and an internal packing event was held shortly after the drive ended. During the drive, Miron collected monetary donations as well as disposable and cloth diapers. All money raised was used to purchase diapers, which were packed and donated to Jake’s Diapers.
In an effort to connect with neighbors and bring in additional donations, Miron partnered with Essity, Evergreen Credit Union, Fox Crossing Fire Rescue, Kurz Industrial Solutions, St. James Lounge, Wisconsin Institute of Urology, WOW Logistics and XE54.
Miron employees contributed more than 9,000 diapers, and collectively with the other participating businesses, they donated 14,547 diapers (as well as 504 wipes and 69 changing pads) to Jake’s Diapers. These contributions will help 300 families in the community.
“At Miron, serving our communities drives our organization, and it’s phenomenal to witness our team members living out that mission,” said Jen Bauer, Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Miron Construction. “To know that our employees suggested this diaper drive, handled the planning and coordination and encouraged other organizations in our neighborhood to get involved instills such an incredible sense of pride in our team. To Miron, knowing that more families and children in our community will benefit from the comfort and safety of fresh diapers is what building excellence in our communities is all about.”
