Founded in 2000, CR Holland Crane Service has its roots in a family business launched in 1968 that focused on moving structures. A second company providing customized equipment for moving heavy objects on the ground was added to the Holland portfolio, which led to the establishment of the crane company, specializing in lifting and setting out-of-gauge components.

Headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee, Barnhart is a lifting and logistics contractor with a current network of nearly 60 facilities. The company offers operated crane rental, rigging services, outage planning, specialized solutions for component replacement, industrial storage, and national project cargo logistics. Barnhart also has one of the largest engineering teams in the industry, including a full research and development department.
