Seiler’s geospatial and CAD staff, along with several vendor representatives from Trimble, Spectra Precision, Screening Eagle, and more were on hand to greet customers, express their appreciation, and answer questions. Festivities included demos and presentations on Seiler Geospatial equipment, food, giveaways, and the chance to win door prizes.
Michael O’Grady, Seiler Geospatial’s Business Development Director, was in Wisconsin to attend the Franklin location event. “These open houses give us an opportunity to bring our customers in and show them how much we appreciate the partnership we have with them. Partnerships are what it is all about,” he said. “Our customers come in and they have big projects that they are working on, and everything is all about getting it in on time and under budget. … Our technology has helped get that done.”
“Seiler Geospatial is responsible for distributing Trimble technology in seven states,” O’Grady said. “These open houses are not just a chance to showcase new technology that Trimble is just releasing, but also [to] answer any questions our customers might have. All of our sales and technical staff are here, as is our service department, so if they have any questions, they can reach out to the right person.”
Some of the new Trimble equipment on display were the X-12 High Resolution Scanner, which scans at 2.187 million points per second and has a range of 0.3 meters to 365 meters; and a couple new receivers, the R750 and the R780. “Drones, scanning equipment — all the toys are here,” O’Grady said. “Toys for big boys, I always say.”
