NOBLESVILLE, IN – The MDC Group recently promoted Mike Grubb, AIA, LEED AP BD+C to President of Construction and Mark Mennen to Chief Financial Officer.

With over 25 years of commercial architectural and project management experience, Grubb has shown expertise at collaborating with clients to address the unique challenges of each project to ensure they remain on track for success. In his previous role as Vice President of Architecture at Cripe, Grubb served on the Executive Committee and led their sales team. Whether earlier in his career as a Project Manager or later as Client Executive, Grubb gained extensive knowledge in retail, multi-family developments, government, healthcare, education, recreational and mixed-use projects.

Grubb is currently registered as an architect in seven states. He holds a degree in Architectural Engineering Technology from ITT Technical Institute. He has 10 years of experience in Executive Management and Business Leadership and is a Graduate of the IU Kelley School of Business Executive Leadership Program. Grubb is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED) with a specialization in Building Design and Construction.

Grubb gives his time to local community and business non for profits and he is currently on the Board of Directors for the Indy Chamber and serves on the Government and Fiscal Policy Council and Monumental Awards Committee. He is a past President and the 2012 Lifetime Achievement Award winner of the Chamber Action Committee, presently the Indy Chamber Ambassadors. Grubb has served on the Board of Directors of the Noblesville Boys & Girls Club since 2009 and serves as the Chair of the Internal Affairs Committee as well as the Chair of the Safety Committee. In 2011, he was presented with the Board Member of the Year Award. Grubb joined the Board of Directors for the Noblesville Chamber of Commerce in 2020. He serves on the IUPUI Construction Management Industry Advisory Board.

Grybb is a native of Indiana. He and his wife, Andrea, of 25 years have three children and one granddaughter and reside in Noblesville. Quality family time involves sports, traveling, camping and hiking. Mike is passionate about community service and volunteers with different programs. Mike has eighteen years of experience coaching youth sports, including 12U girls club volleyball coach. He is an avid golfer that loves to entertain clients and friends on the course.


Mark Mennen, CFO
Mennen’s motivation for joining The MDC Group team is based on his passion for the company’s commitment to culture. As CFO, Mennen is primarily responsible for capital, financial analysis and future planning, in addition to traditional accounting areas and financial reporting (internal and external). Prior to his current role, Mennen was the Controller for the Central Region for AECOM Hunt, providing financial oversight for some of the largest sports and aviation projects in the country (over $1 billion annual revenue). Previously, he was the CFO of a national retail general contractor and the corporate controller of a large national home builder. Upon graduating college, Mennen worked in public accounting for five years with Ernst & Young.

Mennen received his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Indiana University and holds certification as a CPA. He has been an active civic leader involved in various organizations, including the Indiana CPA Society, Indianapolis Junior Achievement, HOSTS youth mentoring programs, church leadership, and Penrod Society. Mennen's interests include boating, traveling, reading, coaching youth sports and leading his men’s church group. His joy in life comes from spending time with his wife of 26 years, Michele, and their three children.
