INDIANAPOLIS – Schmidt Associates announced the launch of Waypoint Strategies, a new division dedicated to helping organizations plan, build, maintain, and operate facilities.
Waypoint Strategies’ mission is to meet Owners where they are, offering tailored solutions that go beyond technical proficiency to ensure projects are delivered with understanding, respect, and care. Focused on providing Owner’s representation, program management, facilities management, and operational strategy services, this initiative is a testament to Schmidt Associates’ commitment to providing comprehensive, client-focused services.
Schmidt Associates welcomes Audra Blasdel as Division Lead, Waypoint Strategies, to spearhead this new initiative. In her new role, Blasdel will engage Owners as their advocate to ensure their projects deliver on intent, are technically sound, and serve the organization’s overall objectives.
“Waypoint Strategies is driven to provide Owners with a holistic set of wrap-around services that create a path to long-term success that is more than technical in nature. Rooted in a fundamental understanding of an Owner’s mission, vision, and values, we generate project outcomes and solutions that are reflective of each unique Owner’s identity.” Blasdel said. “As a former Owner, I understand the importance of having a partner who delivers on a project and does so with understanding and respect for the organization. I am excited about what this approach means for Owners.”
Sarah Hempstead, CEO and principal of Schmidt Associates, expressed her enthusiasm over Blasdel’s appointment and shared how Owners will benefit.
“Audra is a true servant leader with a love for projects, organizing, analyzing, convening, and executing,” Hempstead said. “This strategic focus, coupled with being a former Owner, allows her to provide a fresh perspective that will add value to our Owners.”
