Indy Chamber – 46th Annual Monumental Awards

- A vibrant built environment not only improves the overall quality of life, but attracts talented individuals to call the Indianapolis region home. The Monumental Awards are one of the ways in which the Indy Chamber showcases the economic development growth of the Indy region. This annual evening of recognition acknowledges individuals and businesses that contribute to excellence in architecture, construction, engineering, innovative reuse, interior design, landscape architecture, neighborhood revitalization, public art, and real estate development throughout the nine-county Indianapolis region.

- Put your hands up for the IFMA Indy 2023 Golf Outing. This year will feature hole sponsor tents with a “Party in the U.S.A.” theme. Last year’s event sold out, so you won’t want to wait to register your foursome this year. IFMA will have golf and festive food, beverages, and games all tee-ed up for its guests.

- Franciscan Health Crown Point Replacement Hospital, 12800 Mississippi Parkway, Crown Point
- Tonn and Blank Construction is serving as the construction manager for the new Franciscan Health Crown Point Replacement Hospital. The facility will be a new state of the art 160 bed acute care hospital and medical office building, opening early 2024. The hospital will be seven stories high and has been designed to accommodate expansion in the years ahead to an eventual 300-bed capacity and expanded medical office building. With over 800,000 hours worked by 400 tradespeople both on-site and in Tonn and Blank’s Off-Site Construction Division, this development is a great example of innovation and safety best practices in the construction industry. The event will include a hard hat tour of the Franciscan Health Crown Point Hospital.

- According to a major study conducted by Gallup, a significant 60 percent of employees experience emotional detachment at work and 19 percent are downright miserable. The study also revealed that workers in the Unites States and Canada are among the most anxious and stressed out in the world. CJ McClanahan will be leading a discussion with a panel of unreformed overachievers, and he will provide practical strategies to help overcome the chaos and prioritize a healthier lifestyle without sacrificing career goals. You’re invited to attend one of the largest industry luncheons of the year, hosted by BOMA, CCIM, CREA, IndyCREW, IFMA, IREM, NAIOP, and ULI. The first 300 registrants will receive a copy of McClanahan’s book, “The Overachiever’s Dilemma.”

- Join BOMA Indiana for its 7th Annual Member Mixer at Ruth’s Chris at Ironworks. This member-only event will include appetizers, drinks, and free professional headshots by photographer Mike Washington. This will also be an opportunity for anyone interested in joining a committee for 2024. The event will also have a donation table for Outreach Indiana, an organization that empowers homeless teens and young adults. All members will receive one raffle entry for prizes and additional tickets for each donated item.
