This forum is designed to help impending graduates regarding pathways to architectural licensure, opportunities for continued service in the profession through AIA Indiana/YAF Indy/YAF Fort Wayne, access to the local network and resources offered by AIA Indiana/YAF Indy/YAF Fort Wayne, and the value of getting involved with YAF and signing-up to join AIA Indiana. This forum will include a question/answer session to address any burning questions about licensure, ARE, AXP, or other professional practice-related issues. LAUNCHPAD 2022 is open to students from Ball State University, Indiana University, and University of Notre Dame.
AIA Indiana – Lighting Design Fluency for Architects CE Webinar

- Lighting Design Fluency for Architects trains architects on how to specify energy efficient lighting for any application, utilizing light to paint a space with beauty and utility. The event begins with a review of lighting terminology, metrics, techniques, and product selection needed to translate a concept into a lighting design. Then there is a review of criteria to evaluate lighting spec sheets and a demonstration on product features to determine if they meet the design intent. The class ends with how to detail lighting integration and mounting in a variety of locations, as well as what documentation is needed for an effective lighting submittal. Content is applicable to both residential and commercial projects.

The educational program presents opportunities for healthcare design professionals from across the state to enjoy an array of presentations and panel discussions designed to help improve their practices.
- Course material has been submitted to AIA for CE credit. Pending full approval, attendees will earn 5.0 AIA HSW LUs for their participation.
- This event also provides a unique opportunity for sponsors/exhibitors to showcase their products and services throughout the day in a fast-paced yet low-key environment. The trade show offers vendors tabletop exhibit space in Cook Theater with lots of opportunities for quality interaction with attendees.

- Join ACEC Indiana for its 34th Annual Engineering Excellence Awards Luncheon on April 28. Tables are normally set for 10 people, but we can accommodate one or two more if necessary.
