This will be the fifth location for ERMCO since its founding in 1962.
“Each time we have relocated, it was done with a vision for the future, and each relocation led to significant growth and an improvement in our ability to meet the needs of those we serve. This move will support and add to that ability,” said Greg Gossett, ERMCO President and CEO.
“ERMCO is an excellent example of the types of companies we want to continue to attract to our city,” said Greenwood Mayor Mark W. Myers. “ERMCO leaders are actively investing in our community by moving their headquarters, investing millions of dollars and relocating well over 100 jobs. Today’s groundbreaking ceremony officially marks Greenwood as their new home, and we look forward to seeing their commitment continue through the years.”
Scheduled for move-in by the end of 2022, the new facility will serve as a showpiece demonstrating ERMCO’s market capabilities. Clients and visitors will be able to experience the latest A/V, building management, and technology systems in a new demonstration space as well as throughout the building in conference rooms, gathering spaces, and dynamic displays. There will be 155 offices, 14 meeting spaces, and 2,600 square feet of social space. A 102,000 square foot service center will include warehouse space as well as dedicated space for fabrication and modular construction.
In his speech at the groundbreaking ceremony, Gossett shared that “this day would not have been possible without the hard work and efforts of all members of the ERMCO family.”
