“I had an amazing 32-year career at Elevatus Architecture, and left in 2015, needing a life change. After four great years at Greater Fort Wayne Inc. working in economic development, I had a yearning to return to my roots, and to practice my passion for justice design once again. It feels like returning home, and I’m thrilled to be here with great friends again,” said Sholl.
The significant increase with local and national justice work is related to the high demand in projects serving both county jail, state correctional facilities, and rehabilitation and treatment options. All of these facilities are incorporating mental health and recovery with a focus on programmatic and spatial changes to their needs. Dave’s longtime experience in creating scalable justice facilities has lasting impacts on reducing recidivism and will only produce better public facilities for the future.
