During the annual luncheon, St. John was presented with the award by previous award winner, Elaine Bedel of Bedel Financial. The Woman Business Owner of the Year award honors one outstanding NAWBO-Indianapolis business owner who has built a successful and sustainable business. Recipients of this award must have a demonstrated history of driving business forward and creating job growth. They assertively break through barriers, overcome challenges, and actively support other women business owners. They also seek to give back to their communities.
St. John has been an active NAWBO-Indianapolis member for nearly two decades and has held a myriad of board and chair positions. St. John was nominated by a fellow NAWBO-Indianapolis member and was judged by a committee of her peers.
“I’m incredibly honored to be recognized as NAWBO-Indianapolis Woman Business Owner of the Year,” said St. John. “Being recognized in this way validates my commitment and drive to build a successful and sustainable business serving businesses across the state of Indiana. I will cherish this award and all it represents.”
The annual Visionary Awards Luncheon was held at the Indiana Roof Ballroom on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, where the award recipients were announced. Keynote speaker was Gwendolyn Rogers of Cake Bake.
