Watson leads the West Division, which includes California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, and Hawaii. During his 19-year tenure at HNTB, Watson has worked in multiple geographies and held various leadership positions, including his most recent role as the Office Leader of the Northern California and Nevada offices.
Under his leadership, the Northern California office established an equity-based scholarship with a local collegiate partner and raised more than $150,000 for charities in the region. In addition, the office has grown the number of employees by 65%.
As an engineering consultant to departments of transportation, transit agencies, airports, tolling authorities, and other public- and private-sector owners, HNTB is advancing on a strong growth trajectory. Slimp credits HNTB’s continued growth to its focus on clients and strong market conditions.
