ST. LOUIS, MO — Burns & McDonnell promotes Chase Herrmann to lead the Construction Group in the Midwest Region. In this role, Herrmann will focus on delivering construction solutions while helping clients navigate complex projects across multiple industries.
"Chase is a dedicated leader with a deep understanding of safe construction execution and project delivery," said Breck Washam, PE, F.NSPE, Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Midwest Region. "His experience developing strong client relationships, leading successful engineer-procure-construct [EPC] projects, and building high-performing teams makes him an exceptional choice to continue expanding our construction services across the region."
Herrmann joined Burns & McDonnell in 2011 and has played a key role in growing the firm's construction capabilities in the Midwest. Since transferring to the St. Louis, Missouri, office in 2019, he has worked closely with regional leadership to build the Construction Group to nearly 90 employee-owners. In 2023, Burns & McDonnell named Herrmann a Principal, recognizing his commitment to the firm's employee ownership culture and mission to drive success for clients and communities.
His experience spans several markets, including electrical transmission and distribution, power generation, water, transportation electrification, and environmental services. Herrmann was integral in expanding the firm's program management and EPC client base in the region. He expects to continue to evolve the Midwest Region's construction capabilities to adapt to an ever-changing market.
"I am honored and humbled to lead this incredible team of construction professionals," Herrmann said. "At Burns & McDonnell, safety is our foundation, and I am committed to continuing our focus on delivering high-quality projects while keeping our people and partners safe. Our team's experience and dedication will allow us to support our clients in achieving their goals, and I look forward to helping drive that success."
