CARBONDALE, IL — Hafer announces a strategic expansion into two new markets with the acquisition of hmb ARCHITECTS LLC in Carbondale, Illinois, and the opening of a new branch in Columbus, Ohio. hmb ARCHITECTS LLC is an architecture and interior design firm with a suite of clients spanning the United States and presence in the workplace, civic, education, and retail markets.

The new office will continue to do business as hmb ARCHITECTS LLC as a subsidiary of Hafer, retaining their existing premises and employees.

Simultaneously, Hafer launched a new office in Columbus, Ohio, helmed by Interior Designer Jason Southwell. Southwell has over a decade of service at Hafer.
