He has also delivered multiple Federal Emergency Management Agency Levee Certification reports for local sponsors and supported the United States Army Corps of Engineers in the delivery of flood risk and coastal storm risk management projects. Moore has worked on over 300 dams and levees throughout the U.S. during his career.
In addition to his dam and levee safety efforts, he has significant experience in flood risk reduction and led coastal resiliency projects in New York, Boston, and Louisiana. His background in hydraulic modeling, consequence estimation, and practical flood protection measures allows clients to make risk-informed decisions.

As an active member in the Association of State Dam Safety Officials, the United States Society on Dams, Ohio Dam Safety Organization, and the Society of Military Engineers, Moore has served on numerous conference planning committees and technical subcommittees. Based in Columbus, Ohio, Moore is a Professional Engineer and holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from Ohio University.
