George has spent most of his 40-year career in the construction industry working in the Atlanta market. His portfolio of work includes design-build and construction management services in the commercial office, hospitality, multi-unit living, retail, mixed-use, and education sectors. He presently serves on the Buckhead Coalition board and is the 2021 Chair for the American Heart Association’s Hard Hats with Heart. He previously served as Chairman of Southface Institute and the Associated Builders and Contractors of Georgia and previously served on the boards of the ICSC Centerbuild Program Planning Committee and with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.
