LAKE MARY, FL — HNTB announces Sandra M. Bucklew, PE, Vice President, has been named Construction Services Leader for the firm’s Southeast Division. In her new role, Bucklew will be accountable for closely collaborating with the firm’s offices and clients in the region to deliver value to clients and grow the company’s construction services practice.

Bucklew brings more than 33 years of experience in highway and bridge construction engineering and management to the position. Since joining HNTB, Bucklew has been instrumental in growing the firm’s construction services practice in Florida, working on several transportation projects including the Moving I-4 Forward Program, Central Florida’s SunRail program, and various projects funded by the Federal Transit Administration across the state, along with construction engineering inspection work on the SR 369/US 319 Capacity project in Wakulla County.

Bucklew holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Florida State University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Florida, Illinois, and Indiana. She is an active member of the Florida Engineering Society and serves on the Civil Engineering Advisory Board at her alma mater. Bucklew also participates in several committees within the Florida chapter of the American Council of Engineering Companies, currently serving as the Transportation Chair and is a member of the Central Office Relations Committee and the District Two Liaison Committee.
