ORLANDO, FL — Andrew Harper has been promoted to lead the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) Group for the Florida region. Harper has more than 15 years of industry experience, including over 11 years at Burns & McDonnell.
“Andrew has led various multiyear design initiatives that have helped expand and modernize Florida's power grid,” said Rich Mahaley, Senior Vice President and General Manager for Burns & McDonnell in Florida. "With his profound knowledge and leadership experience, I am excited to watch him lead our Transmission & Distribution team in Florida through our next phase of growth.”
Harper has a foundation in civil/structural engineering and substation design and construction. Over the course of his career, he has successfully delivered complex substation projects for a wide range of clients across the United States. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
