FORT LAUDERDALE, FL — W. Grey Marker II, Founder and CEO of Marker Construction Group in Fort Lauderdale, announces several new hires at the company as it continues to experience growth: Director of First Impressions Erica McCalla, Pre-Construction Coordinator Veronica Nikolajuk and Estimator Sam Tawedros.
Fort Lauderdale resident McCalla joins Marker Construction Group as Director of First Impressions, in which she performs receptionist duties and does online filing, data entry and more. Previously, she served as an Assistant Property Manager. McCalla is a State of Florida licensed Notary Public. She holds an associate degree and cosmetology degree.
Pre-Construction Coordinator Nikolajuk is a resident of Hallandale Beach. Prior to joining Marker Construction Group, she was a Personal Assistant, as well as a Loan Commercial Servicing Specialist. Nikolajuk attended Belarussian State University in Minsk, Belarus, and Cuyahoga Community College in Cleveland, Ohio.  
Tawedros, a resident of Wellington, joins Marker Construction as an Estimator. In his position, he prepares and coordinates complete cost estimates for all construction projects. He also reviews and interprets plans and specs, and solicits sub-contractors and material bids to ensure that the project is bid in accordance with the owner’s requirements and satisfaction. Previously, he worked for various construction companies as an Estimator and Project Manager. He holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering and Project Management Professional certification.
