Bishop Promoted to Vice President of Environmental, Health and Safety for Skanska

Bishop has 28 years of experience in the construction industry, 12 of those with Skanska. He most recently served as EHS Director for Skanska’s civil operation at the national level. He was also the National Coordinator for the integrated ISO14001/OHSAS 18001 Safety Health & Environmental Management System for occupational health and safety management systems. He was also involved in the development of Skanska’s EHS PlanIT tool.
Bishop has worked on numerous projects with Skanska, including the World Trade Center/Port Authority Trans-Hudson Transportation Hub in Manhattan, the New York City Department of Environmental Protection 26th Ward Water Pollution Control Plant, Astoria Energy Power Plant Expansion Project (Phase II), New York City Hurricane Sandy Rapid Repairs and the New York MTA Second Avenue Subway.
Bishop has a Bachelor of Science in industrial management from Manhattan College in the Bronx. He holds several licenses and certifications in environmental health and safety from the state of New York.
