During his three years with FINLEY, Tu's most notable projects have included Honolulu Authority For Rapid Transportation HART Extension 3 where he was responsible for the 3D innovative shop drawing of platform girders. Tu has done extensive design work on the Wekiva Parkway Section 6 Design-Build where, as a Bridge Designer, he was responsible for superstructure design including diaphragms, anchors, and deviator segments. During the construction phase, Tu was responsible for designs of pier table falsework, end span falsework, cofferdam, and technical support. In addition, Tu performed design drawings, specifically 3D innovative shop drawing.
Tu has also done considerable work on SR25/Okeechobee Road and SR 826/Palmetto Expressway where he was responsible for the analysis of superstructure, including steel plate girder and steel box girder options. Additionally, Tu is also in charge of creating high complex 3D models using Sofistik analysis software for this project.
