TAMPA, FL — Sundt’s Industrial Group hires Dale Purcell as a Project Superintendent and Brant Singletary as Project Manager for its Florida operations.

“As our presence in the Southeast continues to grow, we are excited to welcome Dale and Brant to our team,” said David Rieken, Regional Manager at Sundt Construction. “Their experience in the construction industry and Florida will be instrumental in achieving our goals at Sundt.”

Purcell is a native Floridian from the Tampa Bay area. He has been in the heavy construction field for approximately 25 years and has experience in earthwork, underground utilities, concrete, asphalt, and more. He is currently working on a mining project in Arizona and will return for pre-construction and construction of a new advanced wastewater treatment facility in Hillsborough County, Florida. Purcell is a certified Stormwater Management Inspector and has a Florida Maintenance of Traffic Supervisor Certification along with OSHA certifications.

Singletary is a veteran and served in the U.S. Air Force and North Carolina Air National Guard. He also comes with over 10 years of experience in the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing industry. He is currently working on an advanced technology project in New Mexico and will be working on the pre-construction and construction of a new advanced wastewater treatment facility in Hillsborough County, Florida.

Sundt’s history in the Southeast dates back more than 50 years. Some of the firm’s notable area landmarks include Launch Pad 39A at Florida’s Kennedy Space Center, where NASA first launched U.S. astronauts into space, and the concrete core of One Atlantic Center in Atlanta, Georgia, built using an innovative slipform technique pioneered by Sundt and later used all over the country.
