NASHVILLE, TN — Lyndsay Botts joins HNTB Corporation as Regional Business Development Leader in Nashville. In this role, Botts, with nearly 25 years of communications, political, and transportation policy experience in Tennessee, collaborates with HNTB leaders and project teams to develop new business strategies, maintain and build client relationships, and lead initiatives that advance transportation infrastructure projects across the region.

Botts comes to HNTB from the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) where she served most recently as Deputy Commissioner. She also served as Chief of Staff to two TDOT Commissioners during the administrations of Gov. Bill Haslam and Gov. Bill Lee. Prior to TDOT, Botts served U.S. Senator Lamar Alexander of Tennessee as Field Director and Assistant Press Secretary.

Botts is an active member of the American Association of State Highway Officials. She is also a board member for the Tennessee Court Appointed Special Advocates and served the board of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of East Tennessee. Botts graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in communications.
