TAMPA, FL — HNTB announces Gina Dew has joined the firm as a Project Director, bringing extensive experience in transportation strategy, government relations, and aviation innovation. In her new role, Dew will support clients in delivering major infrastructure initiatives across Florida and help expand the firm’s aviation and advanced air mobility (AAM) services nationwide.
Dew brings a wealth of expertise to HNTB, with over two decades of experience in government and community relations, legislative advocacy, and strategic communications. She most recently served as Director of Government and Community Relations at Tampa International Airport, where she led lobbying efforts at federal, state, and local levels. Her work secured over $500 million in funding for infrastructure and homeland security initiatives. She also co-led the airport’s AAM efforts, helping position the region as a leader in emerging transportation technologies. In addition to overseeing the community relations department and business diversity programs, Dew built relationships across Florida and Washington, D.C., and played a key role in shaping policy outcomes.
Earlier in her career, Dew worked in the Florida House of Representatives as a Legislative Assistant to Speaker Larry Cretul, working measures focused on the gaming industry, higher education, and health care policy.

Dew's professional affiliations include previous leadership roles with the Association of American Airport Executives, Airports Council International, and the Florida Airports Council. She also serves on the board of Volunteer Florida, is active with Leadership Tampa, and previously served as a Board Member alternate for the Hillsborough Transportation Planning Organization.
