Based in the Fort Lauderdale office, the new Vice President will be assisting the firm’s clients with planning, coordination, and oversight of a range of renovation, repair, and maintenance projects across South Florida. Hess has nearly 20 years of experience managing teams and complex projects. With particular expertise in the residential and hospitality sectors, she is well-versed in such areas as project planning, coordination, budgeting, and litigation support.
“A project manager makes sure everyone on the team knows the game plan, their individual responsibilities, and is working toward achieving a common goal,” Hess said. “We not only provide project leadership and ensure clients’ expectations are successfully met, we also look for ways to maximize performance and improve efficiencies.”
Hess previously served as a Project Manager/Developer’s Representative for an affiliate of the Blackstone Group, where she oversaw approximately $20 million of repairs related to defective construction work at a condominium project in Boca Raton, Florida, and various hotel renovation projects throughout South Florida. She also served as an Operations Project Manager for Hilton Hotels & Resorts and the former Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
