BALL GROUND, GA — Manhattan Construction Company, in partnership with CROFT Architects, joined Cherokee County Water and Sewerage Authority (CCWSA) officials and community leaders to celebrate the groundbreaking of the new CCWSA Administrative Complex in Ball Ground, Georgia. The new multi-level 50,000-square-foot headquarters is expected to open in March 2027.
CCWSA’s $27 million complex will consolidate operations from three Canton locations into a single, modern campus designed to enhance collaboration and deliver greater efficiency for Cherokee County residents.
The facility includes approximately 10,000 square feet of shell space, featuring a boardroom and offices for general management, accounting, billing, Capital Improvements, construction, customer service, environmental affairs, GIS, human resources, technology, and special projects. The campus will also include a 3,500-square-foot laboratory with a receiving area and a 1,700-square-foot maintenance building featuring an outdoor vehicle wash bay.
“We’re honored to partner with CCWSA on a project that will deliver real, lasting benefits for Cherokee County,” said Jason McFadden, Vice President at Manhattan Construction Company. “This headquarters is an opportunity to shape a thoughtful, community-focused campus that supports growth and improves operations for residents. As the construction manager, Manhattan, together with CROFT Architects, will apply our technical expertise to deliver the best outcomes for quality while maintaining the highest standards of safety and collaboration.”
