MYCON Begins Construction on Phase One of Multi-Building Industrial Development in Nashville

NASHVILLE, TN — Dallas-based MYCON General Contractors, Inc. (MYCON) has begun construction on the first phase of Airpark Commerce Pointe, an industrial distribution development near Nashville International Airport. This project marks the first ground-up design-build industrial project to be run out of MYCON’s Nashville office, and the firm’s first project with client, Hamilton Creek Partners, LLC.

“We are grateful for the opportunity to work with Hamilton Creek Partners on this project that marks such an exciting milestone for our growing Nashville team,” said Chip Myers, Partner and Vice President of MYCON.

Airpark Commerce Pointe sits on roughly 73 acres of land neighboring J. Percy Priest Lake and is located just east of Nashville International Airport. The site is expandable to allow for two additional buildings, totaling 318,250 square feet for the second construction phase.

Phase one includes two Class-A multi-tenanted industrial buildings, totaling 204,500 square feet. 801 Airpark Commerce Drive will be 94,500 square feet with 14 dock doors and two drive-in doors. 900 Airpark Commerce Drive will be 110,000 square feet with 16 dock doors and two drive-in doors.

Raleigh-based Development & Construction Insight, LLC will provide construction management services. Construction has commenced and is estimated to be completed in late 2024.
