“We are thrilled to begin construction on this monumental project,” said John Gromos, Principal-in-Charge for TBA. “We aim to set a new standard with this project for stadium construction, safety practices, local business development, and community involvement. We look forward to working with the Tennessee Titans, the City of Nashville, the entire design team, and our trade partners to deliver a world-class facility for our community.”
TBA is a joint venture partnership of Turner Construction Company, AECOM Hunt, Polk & Associates Construction, and I.C.F. Builders & Consultants. The group has extensive experience building sports facilities across the country and deep ties to the Middle Tennessee community.
“Our Turner Nashville team has operated in Nashville since 1975, and many of our team members are lifelong residents of the area," said Paul Lawson, Vice President and General Manager, Turner Construction Company, Nashville. "We are thrilled to work with the Tennessee Titans on this project and committed to creating generational impact for our neighbors, local businesses, and communities throughout the area.”
“The New Nissan Stadium marks the latest in our proud record of building industry-leading arenas and complex sports projects," said Bob Hart, President of Construction Management, AECOM Hunt. "In venues across the country, our work is driven by the unmatched skill and deep commitment of our workers — and the shared collaboration with our partners. We’re proud of our record of success and of being a part of the effort to bring new opportunities to all of Nashville through this incredible project. As they work on site, our team looks forward to seeing the visionary future for the East Bank come to life — and to welcoming the Titans to their new home.”

As construction manager for the project, TBA will implement programs to support local small and diverse businesses and create training and employment opportunities for individuals.
The new stadium will be built along Nashville’s East Bank. Features of the building include: a circular translucent roof; exterior porches with panoramic views of Nashville; improved sightlines for all spectators through a range of seating experiences; and a 12,000-square-foot community space available to host the community’s events year-round.
Home to the Tennessee Titans, the 1.8-million-square-foot stadium will host Titans home games, Tennessee State University football games, concerts, and community events. It will be capable of hosting world-class events such as Super Bowls, Final Fours, College Football Playoffs, and more.
“As part of the New Nissan Stadium project, we proudly stand as a partner in creating the future home of the Titans — and a future downtown district that will serve the community for generations to come," said Tyler Baumgardt, Vice President, AECOM Hunt. "As our team builds this incredible state-of-the-art facility, we recognize we’re building more than a stadium. Spurring job growth, small business opportunities, and neighborhood development, we’re helping build a vibrant, thriving downtown and waterfront that uplifts the community, strengthening and connecting across every reach of the city.”
