KALAMAZOO, MI — Wightman announces that Frank Renaldi, PE, Senior Civil Engineer and Project Manager, has been named the recipient of the Franklin D. Meyers Outstanding Civil Engineer of the Year Award by the Michigan Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE Michigan Section). Renaldi’s ASCE award recognizes civil engineers who have demonstrated outstanding professional achievement, leadership, and service to the engineering profession.

With more than 30 years of experience in civil engineering, Renaldi has built a career helping communities and clients develop critical infrastructure improvements throughout southwest Michigan. His expertise spans municipal engineering, site development, and long-range planning projects that have enhanced the quality of life for residents across the region.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Renaldi advances the engineering profession through leadership and service. He currently serves as President of the ASCE Southwest Michigan Branch and has dedicated countless hours to mentoring future engineers and supporting professional development opportunities within the industry. Additionally, he is the current President of Kiwanis Club of Kalamazoo and is the first repeat President of the organization in over 100 years.
