DETROIT, MI — Barton Malow has been awarded The Association of Union Constructors’ (TAUC) Zero Injury Safety Awards, receiving the Bronze Star Award and Certificates of Merit, for outstanding safety performance on projects for General Motors, Ford Motor Company, and DTE Energy.
The annual awards are part of a safety recognition program, honoring the tripartite teams that achieved zero injuries on industrial construction and maintenance projects in the previous calendar year, from January to December 2024.
During the Zero Injury Safety Awards Gala, Barton Malow team members accepted the Bronze Star Award, which honored the Little Trout Solar project (223,466 work hours) and Certificates of Merit for the General Motors Flint Assembly Plant (85,648 work hours), Ford Motor Company Henry Ford II World Center (69,889 work hours), and Spring Hill Ultium Cells 2 Battery Plant (60,470 work hours).
These awards emphasize Barton Malow’s commitment to job site safety culture and dedication to safety practices, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
