NORTHVILLE, MI — NTH Consultants Ltd. (NTH), an employee-owned engineering consulting firm serving clients throughout Michigan and beyond, is expanding its service offerings with the launch of a new Electrical Engineering Division.
The addition responds to growing client demand and strengthens NTH's ability to support infrastructure, energy, utility, and renewable energy projects through a more
comprehensive suite of engineering services.
Leading the new division is Ryan Caauwe, PE, who joined NTH as Division Director of Electrical Engineering in June. Caauwe brings more than 20 years of experience in the energy and utility sectors, with expertise in substation design, protective relaying, power system studies, utility interconnections, and commissioning services. Throughout his career, he has led complex infrastructure projects supporting both utility providers and renewable energy developments across Michigan.

The new division will focus on utility and power infrastructure projects, including substations, protection and controls, power system studies, utility coordination and interconnection support, electrical system planning, and related engineering services.

In the coming months, Caauwe will focus on growing the firm's electrical engineering team and expanding NTH's presence within Michigan's utility, energy, and infrastructure sectors.
