Wheatley is Vice President and Director of Corporate Marketing at ROWE Professional Services Company, and he has two Bachelor of Science degrees from Michigan State University (horticulture and civil engineering). Wheatley joined ROWE in 1989 and has served as Project Manager on many public infrastructure projects. He became a licensed Professional Engineer in Michigan in 1994 and is also a licensed Residential Builder. He was named Vice President and Principal in 2010.
In addition to being the current President of the ACEC/M, he is also a member of the Michigan Society of Professional Engineers (past Flint Chapter President and Young Engineer of the Year), and the Chi Epsilon Civil Engineering Honor Society.
