Dillard is a Project Manager at Wolverine Building Group, where she has experience in commercial construction, working on diverse projects. Her current focus is multi-unit residential buildings, recently completing an adaptive reuse project with Family Promise of West Michigan. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University in construction engineering and management.
In her new role on the Brownfield Redevelopment Authority, Dillard, along with her fellow board members, will follow the guidance and recommendations of the BRA staff to:
- Review proposals for the redevelopment of eligible property and approve financial incentives that are necessary and available to assist the projects
- Approve requests for the Local Brownfield Revolving Fund, which provides grants and loans to finance several types of brownfield redevelopment activity
- Approve strategic financing to a variety of redevelopment projects, including housing, as recently directed by the Governor of Michigan in Michigan Public Act 90
Dillard said she is honored to have the opportunity to serve with the Brownfield Redevelopment Authority and help make a positive impact on the city of Grand Rapids.
