GRAND RAPIDS, MI — AECOM Hunt announces its role as construction manager for the Amway Soccer Stadium project, partnering with Rockford Construction in a joint venture named Rockford/Hunt. The two companies bring a combined wealth of experience and expertise to deliver a venue that will become a focal point for both the community and the region.
AECOM Hunt, a division of global infrastructure company AECOM, has extensive national experience with expertise in constructing sports and entertainment venues. The firm has managed over 125 stadium projects, serving 180-plus teams across the U.S., including venues such as Intuit Dome, Lucas Oil Stadium, Mercedes Benz Stadium, and SoFi Stadium. AECOM Hunt also has a presence in entertainment venues, including local projects like the Van Andel Arena and DeVos Convention Center.
With a track record of successfully completing some of Grand Rapids’ most notable projects, Rockford Construction’s previous projects include Studio Park Tower, Grand Rapids Art Museum, the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel reclad, Acrisure, Perrigo, and the JW Marriott.
