KALAMAZOO, MI — Miller-Davis Company announces that Dan Coffman, firm President, has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer, and Jack Abate, Vice President, has been named Chief Operating Officer.
Coffman, who has been with Miller-Davis for nine years and has served as President for the past two years, will continue in his role as President while also assuming the responsibilities of CEO. Abate, a 21-year veteran of the company who became Vice President in 2022, will now also serve as COO.
“There’s no doubt that thoughtful transition planning over the past two years has left us in a strong position,” Coffman said. “This enables ongoing growth and development for both management and staff across the entire company, something we’re very passionate about at Miller-Davis.”
In 2022, when the century-old firm announced its ninth leadership transition, leaders focused on driving long-term success and fostering innovation and advancement. Since then, the company has experienced significant staff development, revenue growth, technology adoption, process innovation, market expansion, and more. “We are always looking for ways to simultaneously elevate our staff and services to benefit our clients,” Abate said. “I’m excited about the future and the opportunities this industry holds for our team and project partners.”
