BELLEVUE, WA — Jugesh Kapur, PE, SE, joins HNTB Corporation in Bellevue as a Bridge and Structures Department Manager, bringing nearly four decades of experience driving strategic direction and leadership in project management, bridge design, and construction. He holds licenses as a Professional and Structural Engineer in multiple states, including California, Oregon, Idaho, and Washington.

Prior to joining HNTB, Kapur was with the Washington State Department of Transportation for 22 years and held several positions, including State Bridge Engineer, State Bridge Design Engineer, Design Unit Manager, and Senior Structural Engineer. He designed and managed a range of bridge projects across the state.

Throughout his career, Kapur has worked closely with the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials, the Federal Highway Administration, and the National Cooperative Highway Research Program. Kapur earned his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Washington, where he was an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
