Seller-doer is an industry term for project managers who are also responsible for client relations and business development. Compton is an eight-year industry veteran with experience in engineering and management of utility-scale generation projects. Compton will be based in Boise, Idaho, and will primarily work with clients in Washington, Oregon, Montana, and Idaho.
“It’s a very strategic hire for us. We’ve needed someone to help with the Northwest U.S.,” said Kellen Walters, Western Region Business Development Manager for Stanley Consultants.
Most recently with Power Engineers, Compton has led the development phase of two simple cycle gas turbine projects in Arizona, led procurement on $15 million of equipment for a cogeneration facility, and created financial models to evaluate client utility expenses.
