Metcalf joins Sundt with nine years of industry experience. She previously worked in proposal strategy management for a large general contractor, overseeing the delivery of more than 32 proposals per year. Metcalf led pursuits ranging from $105 million to $1 billion, including key transportation projects in California, Alaska, and the Northwest.
Some of Metcalf’s pursuits include two $300 million progressive design-build projects for the Washington State Department of Transportation, a $105 million design-build project for the Oregon Department of Transportation, and a $200 million environmental restoration design-build in California.
Sundt has been building infrastructure across the western United States for 133 years. In 2016, the company completed the Sellwood Bridge in Portland and was recently awarded the Interstate 5 Rose Quarter improvement project in northeast Portland and the Boeckman Road Corridor project in Wilsonville, Oregon. The company is building the Willamette Water Supply Program’s water treatment plant in southwest Portland.
