Beattie has performed extensive engagement with key stakeholders, including federal, state, and local permitting officials and regulators in the Pacific Northwest. She has managed and overseen teams writing some of the most complex environmental impact statements in the Pacific Northwest, including Alaska.
Beattie holds a master's degree in political economy from the University of Texas - Dallas and is a member of several professional organizations, including active involvement with Women in Environment, an organization dedicated to furthering professional development and opportunities for women in environmental fields.
