DENVER, CO — Burns & McDonnell has promoted Jeff Allen to Senior Vice President for the Americas West, leading the firm’s California, Mountain, and Southwest regions and overseeing operations across engineering, construction, consulting, and environmental services in the energy, infrastructure, and buildings markets.
Allen will also continue to lead self-perform construction operations nationwide.
“Jeff’s construction experience, client focus, and commitment to project execution have helped drive success across our organization,” said Paul Fischer, President and Chief Operating Officer of Burns & McDonnell. “His leadership and deep understanding of our business will help support our teams and clients throughout the West while continuing to strengthen our self-perform construction operations nationwide.”
Allen brings nearly three decades of construction leadership experience, with a career focused on delivering complex infrastructure projects for electric power and industrial clients. His background includes project management, procurement, construction management, labor relations, and field execution. Since joining Burns & McDonnell more than 15 years ago, he has played a key role in expanding the firm’s self-perform construction operations, helping deliver complex projects while supporting the growing demand for critical infrastructure.
“I’m honored to step into this role and continue working with an exceptional team,” Allen said. “Together, we have built strong relationships with our clients across the West, and I look forward to supporting their important projects while continuing to invest in the people and capabilities to help us execute construction work across the country.”
A registered Professional Engineer, Allen earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Kansas.
