The annual partnering awards recognize a transportation project team for their ability to resolve conflict, improve communication, utilize innovative solutions, honor stakeholders, and achieve a common goal. AGC Idaho is the regional chapter for the national AGC, a professional association for the construction industry.
“This award reflects the hard work we’ve been doing to build lasting partnerships and a reputation of trust in Idaho,” said Jasen Bennie, Sundt Vice President and Intermountain Regional Manager. “Our team is honored to receive this recognition from the ITD and AGC.”
The I-86 and I-15 System Interchange Reconstruction in Pocatello will improve the safety, efficiency, and mobility of traffic between I-86 and I-15. For this project, Sundt partnered with Cannon Builders, headquartered in Blackfoot, Idaho. The aging bridges built in the 1960s will be demolished and replaced with bigger, more structurally reinforced bridges. There will also be bike lanes and sidewalks added in various areas for pedestrians. When completed, these improvements will enhance the experiences of Idaho commuters for generations to come.
