Elder is highly experienced at developing customized cultural resources deliverables and work programs in compliance with federal, state, and local cultural resources regulations. He also has experience leading multi-company cultural resources teams in support of large and complex infrastructure projects. He places particular emphasis on working with agencies and partners to develop thoughtful, defensible, and cost-conscious cultural resources work products.
He has served as Principal Investigator on over 150 cultural resources studies in the Pacific Northwest since 2012 for agencies such as Snohomish County, Washington State Department of Transportation, City of Seattle, and King County Metro.
At Parametrix, he will build cultural resources capacity and expertise for the Greater Washington environmental planning and compliance team, complementing the firm’s established cultural resources offerings in Idaho and New Mexico.
Dang specializes in planning, utility design, coordination, and report writing. He has a civil and environmental degree with an emphasis on water and hydrology. He has worked with agencies such as the Seattle Department of Transportation, Seattle Public Utilities, Sound Transit, City of Kirkland, King County Parks, and King County Solid Waste Division.

At Parametrix, he joins the Greater Washington water division, which provides electrical and supervisory control and data acquisition, flood control, stormwater, wastewater, and drinking water services to cities, counties, water districts, and others throughout the state.
Geiger's work includes alternative contract delivery, environmental compliance for multiple sectors, bridges, quality control and management, hazardous materials corridor studies, electrical transmission corridor studies, permitting, and National Environmental Policy Act analysis. He has worked with agencies such as the Western Federal Lands Highway Division, Bonneville Power Administration, Oregon and Washington Departments of Transportation, City of Portland, TriMet, Lane Transit District, Pierce County Transit District, and Sound Transit.
At Parametrix, he joins the Oregon/Idaho region Environmental Planning and Compliance team, supporting environmental compliance and permitting for agencies across Oregon, Idaho, and Southwest Washington.
Paulsen specializes in active transportation design including on-street and separated bikeways, enhanced pedestrian environments, as well as off-street multi-use paths. He holds a master’s degree in civil and environmental engineering with an emphasis on sustainable transportation engineering.
At Parametrix, he joins the transportation team in Portland, providing transportation and environmental planning, urban design, and traffic engineering services to the City of Vancouver, Washington; Oregon Department of Transportation; and other clients across the Western United States.
