In 2020, Rosendin expanded training at its Tempe office and sponsored three emerging leaders to participate in the Arizona Builders Alliance’s (ABA) 2020 Leadership programs. Chad Constance, Jason Karseboom, and Andrew Speer graduated from the ABA’s management education programs designed to prepare them for advanced leadership roles.
These young, emerging leaders were celebrated, along with all of this year’s graduates, during the ABA's 27th Annual Leadership Lunch, held at the Camelback Inn and Resort in Scottsdale.
Constance, a Project Executive from Gilbert, graduated from the ABA’s Leadership Development Forum, a year-long program focused on management skills, leadership, and public speaking. He began his career working as a General Contractor and Electrical Contractor while getting his degree from Arizona State University for construction management. He has worked on landmark projects at the Sky Harbor International Airport and Northern Arizona University.
Karseboom and Speer graduated from the ABA’s Emerging Leaders Forum. This six-month education program develops engaged craft workers by teaching leadership, emotional intelligence, communication skills, team building, and more.

Karseboom is a Senior Project Manager from Tempe who graduated from Arizona State University in 2012 with a degree in architectural design. He first joined Rosendin’s BIM Department, developing a document management platform and customizing Prolog databases. After two years, Karseboom transitioned to construction management where he now leads teams that build mission critical data centers, semi-conductor facilities, and other large-scale projects.
Speer is a Project Manager leading the team that is building the new five-story Veterans Affairs Health Clinic in Phoenix. He graduated from Iowa State University in 2014 with a degree in electrical engineering and soon after joined Rosendin as a Database Developer. Speer quickly developed new skills to transition into management overseeing electrical construction and budgets for multiple data center projects across the Southwest.
“Rosendin is so proud of all the hard work and long hours displayed by Chad Constance, Jason Karseboom, and Andrew Speer. We are fortunate to have them on our team doing great work and inspiring others to give their best every day,” said Ben Mlinar, Rosendin Project Executive. Mlinar graduated from the ABA’s Leadership Development Forum in 2019.
“I can say from experience that the ABA program is top notch in helping young leaders develop career building skills and gain a deeper understanding of the industry to create meaningful impact within their companies,” Mlinar said. “Leadership programs, like those offered by the ABA and Rosendin, also provide excellent opportunities to share knowledge with peers and develop mentoring relationships.”
To ensure that every new hire and current employee will have an opportunity to reach their full potential, Rosendin expanded its training programs in 2020 and began developing new initiatives. These programs focus on identifying and removing barriers to promote equity for all such as personal discovery and leadership.
