TEMPE, AZ — Jeff Williamson has been promoted to President of the Transportation Group for Sundt Construction, Inc. Sundt also recently hired both Jessica Hannon and Marissa Roti as Business Development Representatives in its Industrial Group.

Jeff Williamson

Williamson brings over 30 years of experience in the construction industry to his new position. He began his career in the construction industry as a Field Engineer in 1986 and has worked in both the field and the office at all levels of the business. Prior to joining Sundt, Williamson served for 15 years as a Regional Vice President for a large civil contractor in the Southwest, where he helped grow annual volume from $28 million to $242 million.

Upon joining Sundt in 2011, he assumed the role of Senior Vice President and Heavy Civil Division Group Manager. Under Williamson’s leadership, the group has performed more than $2 billion worth of work across Arizona, Texas, New Mexico and Utah and expanded into the Intermountain Region by opening an office in Salt Lake City.

Williamson holds a master’s degree in civil and structural engineering and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, both from the University of Arizona. He is a member of the American Public Works Association, The Road Information Program and a former Chairman of the Arizona chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America.

Jessica Hannon

“Jessica has worked with several other contractors and understands our business, markets and clients,” said Shad Bowman, Sundt’s Business Development Manager for the Industrial Group. “Her enthusiasm, energy and passion for developing meaningful messages and creative content make her a welcome addition to our team.”

Hannon spent the last six years working closely with business development teams to develop pursuit strategies, messaging and content to win projects in multiple markets. In addition, Hannon brings a passion for creative content development and identifying and utilizing new technologies and programs to turn visions into reality. Hannon earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from Baker University while also earning her graphic design certificate from Sessions College.

Marissa Roti

“Marissa has over 20 years of directly applicable experience that she brings to her role supporting our Industrial Group,” Bowman said. “She is a welcome addition to our team here in Tempe. Marissa’s positive energy and experience will enable us to better serve our clients and our employee-owners.”

Roti has 15 years of experience working in senior marketing positions within the construction industry. Throughout her career, she has been responsible for overseeing regional marketing projects and the implementation of the marketing strategy, including campaigns, events, digital marketing and public relations. In her previous position, she served in regional and national leadership roles within the marketing and business development functions. Roti earned her bachelor’s degree in apparel merchandising from South Dakota State University.
