PHOENIX, AZ —
Adolfson & Peterson Construction (AP), a national construction management firm and general contractor, recently made a series of key appointments in its Phoenix office. The new leadership team will oversee the completion of the company’s ongoing projects in Phoenix and continue to grow the firm’s portfolio of projects across the Southwest region.
AP promoted Scott Salyer to Regional Manager of AP Southwest, where he will be responsible for developing business plans and risk management programs, as well as driving business results and operational decisions. AP also welcomed Director of Business Development Melissa Bennett and Regional Marketing Director Amara Boesch. Bennett will be responsible for fostering partnerships with existing clients and identifying new business opportunities. Boesch will be responsible for enhancing the visibility of AP Southwest, driving culture, and shaping its strategic planning efforts.

About Scott Salyer
Salyer has 18 years of construction management experience. Throughout his career, he has generated over $1 billion in work across multiple sectors including higher education, health care, K-12, mixed-use, and municipal. Salyer, previously a Project Executive for AP Gulf States, joined AP in 2017 and has since led multiple teams in executing over $200 million of projects in the region. Prior to joining AP, he completed nearly $500 million worth of renovation work for Dallas Fort Worth International Airport as part of its $1.9-billion terminal renewal and improvement program. Salyer holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management technology from Oklahoma State University.
About Melissa Bennett
Bennett has more than 12 years of business development experience in the construction and insurance industries. Prior to joining AP, she served with CORE Construction, Haydon Building Corporation, and Valley Schools Insurance Trust. Her experience has landed her work with clients such as Purdue University and the Metropolitan School District of Lawrence Township. Bennett holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and criminology from Glenville State College.
About Amara Boesch
Boesch has more than 19 years of marketing experience in architecture, engineering, and construction. Throughout her career, she has developed cohesive marketing plans to increase brand awareness through strategic, targeted, and effective messaging. Boesch joins AP from Hunter Contracting Co., where she served as Director of Marketing and Communications. She holds bachelor’s degrees in corporate communications and Spanish from Castleton State University.
